"Flash Forward" comes from the desks of David S. Goyer (director), Brannon Braga and ABC Studios; it's based on Robert J. Sawyer?s sci-fi novels - chaos and drama ensues after everyone in the world blacks out for 2 minutes and 17 seconds, with a shared mysterious vision of the future that will change lives forever. *cue organ music*
Courtney B. Vance will play Stan Wedeck, the Los Angeles bureau chief of the FBI, and Jack Davenport will star as Lloyd Simcoe, who is trapped in Northern California when the event occurs and struggles to reach his son in a Southland hospital.
The first series has been greenlighted; cryptic promos were aired during LOST, and two official websites have been set up.
"Flash Forward" will premier on 24 September, 8pm ET, on ABC. In the UK, you can see the show from on FIVE from Monday, 28 September, 9pm on.
